Located on “The Hill”, St. Louis’ historic Italian neighborhood, Girasole Gifts and Imports is a unique boutique offering a variety of Italian imports and Italian themed merchandise selected to showcase the artistry of Italian culture and Italian traditions. Girasole imports ceramics, glass, jewelry, masks and beauty products in addition to books, music, soccer items, bomboniere, seasonal specialty foods and other Italian items. The store caters to the Hill visitor with multiple shipping and ordering options and has a popular bridal and gift registry.

Our customers tell us they love just being in our store. It is a warm and welcoming place and we worked hard to be sure that was the ambiance we created. People love to linger and visit and that is what we love. Girasole is another family owned business on the Hill. Marie Cuccia-Brand and her husband, Richard, Debbie Torpea Monolo and her husband, Joe, as well as their children, consider the business a labor of love. Italy, and the Hill, are certainly about food and bakeries and enjoying “la dolce vita” but in Girasole, our vision is to share the many other beautiful things Italy has to offer the world.

Girasole will extend their reach to Italophiles all over the world by opening a web-store in 2007. The store opened in 2003.
